SEPTEMBER 12, 1979
We were known as Thai Do-No Coatings and registered as a Limited Partnership with a capital of Baht 20,000, or less than US$ 1,000.
We became incorporated as Thai Do-No Coatings Company Limited and erected our first factory in Bangkok twin city, Thonburi
During the 5th. International Furniture Fair held in Tokyo in November 1987, cooperations were first discussed with Gen Gen Chemical Industry Company Limited, later to become Gen Gen Corporation, a firm established for well over half a century and internationally renowned for its polyurethane and polyester products.
From the cooperation, technical assistance agreements and the licensing of mostly polyurethane related products for local manufacturing and distribution, were carried out.
After five years of cooperation, the two companies joined hands to form Thai Do No-Gen Gen Company Limited, whose majority share holders (51%) are Thai Do-No Coatings Co.,Ltd., and Gen Gen Corporation of Japan (49%).
With special promotional privileges from the Thai government through its Board of Investment, our new fully equipped factory with modern production facilities and in-house laboratory was constructed on a 5-acre (about 24-rai) plot of land in the province of Rayong on the Eastern Seaboard.

The marriage between Thai Do-No Coatings and Gen Gen Corporation provides our customers with the skills and cost efficiency of Thai workers combined with the latest advanced coating technology from Japan.

Our aim is for perfection and we are constantly striving to provide first-class products that meet our customers' needs.

Our new factory in Rayong runs a production line that is controlled by a centralized computer system, both automatic and semi-automatic, involving only 100 expert staff in the production process.

Furniture and related products from Thailand are now renowned the world over, and the most popular raw material for the manufacture of these items is parawood. Parawood and its spin off products, medium density fibreboard (MDF) and particle board, are readily obtained here in Thailand from commercially grown rubber trees too old to produce rubber in viable economic quantities. In environmentally conscious markets, this is a major consideration as rapidly diminishing natural forests no longer have to be destroyed. Thai Do No-Gen Gen coats not only enhance the beauty of parawood but add to their durability.

And the buttom line? Customers receive top quality products at highly competitive prices.
