Thai Do No was first registered as a limited partnership in 1979 under the name Thai Do No Coatings, and was later registered as a company limited in January 1981.
As we continued to advance our technology, we later partnered with Japan’s leading wood coating manufacturer, Gen Gen Corporation, with over fifty years of legacy in the Japanese coating market, in licensing their paint.
Later on 21st January 1994, we established a joint venture with Gen Gen Corporation, registered Thai Do No – Gen Gen with the Capital investment of 85 million Thai Baht. We aimed to be the leading manufacturer and distributor of all furniture coating products.
Thai Do No – Gen Gen factory occupying an area of 30 rai is located in the province of Rayong, 130 kilometers from Bangkok in the eastern part of Thailand. The factory’s production capacity is 2500 tons per month. Thai Do No Gen Gen first started manufacturing production with a product line consisting of wood-preserving products and wood-furniture industry products.

Later on, the production expanded to a wider variety of industries to meet the more diverse requirements of the clients, this included products for construction, decorative coatings, coating for the metal industry, and products for plastic & fiberglass.
